If you have any additional questions please contact me with your questions.

•  Do not pin or baste the quilt layers
•  Borders should be flat
•  Square the top
•  Clip any loose threads from quilt top. The less bulk the less interference in the quilting
•  Iron well and place on a hanger (If hand delivered)

•  The backing and the batting must be at least 5 inches longer than the quilt top all the way around. The bigger the quilt the more backing and batting will be used when quilting. For a king size allow 7 inches extra on all sides of backing and batting. Please no bed sheets for backing.
•  Cut off selvage from backing fabric. When piecing backing, press the seams open. A 1/4 inch seam is good. Selvage seams create bulk and may cause backing to pucker.
•  Square the backing.
•  Clip any loose threads from backing.
•  Iron well and place on a hanger.

Any miscellaneous work such as repairing seams, squaring up backing, ironing, etc. will be charged at $15.00 /Hr.

To avoid additional labor charges please deliver quilt in good condition. Of course I will let you know before I do any extra work.

Please Note: Mattress depths may vary widely by manufacturer. Measure the depth of your mattress. Standard and older mattresses average 9-12", while newer pillow-top mattresses are 14-16" deep and up. These deeper mattresses will require additional quilt depth so that it covers the mattress completely.
